The Esports Foundation reaffirms its strategic partnership with stc for a third consecutive year

PARIS / RIYADH (July 07, 2026) — The Esports Foundation today announced the return of stc group as Founding and Elite Partner of the Esports World Cup 2026 (EWC), reaffirming the strength of this strategic partnership for the third consecutive year. This collaboration reinforces stc's position as one of the most prominent partners in the global gaming sector, as the group continues to build on its presence at the heart of this global event and advance its efforts to elevate the gaming industry in Saudi and beyond.
During this year's tournament, hosted in Paris, stc holds naming rights to three venues across the EWC Paris footprint: the stcArena, a competitive hub hosting VALORANT, League of Legends, Counter-Strike 2, Rocket League, EA FC 26, Overwatch 2, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7; the stc Player's Lounge; and stc Contenders. Together, these spaces place stc at the center of competition and across the broader fan-fest experience throughout the event.
The strategic partnership extends into the broadcast itself. stc-branded segments — including stc Replay, Yesterday's Highlights, and End of Day Highlights — alongside in-game branded moments and Twitch integrations, ensure stc is woven into how EWC 2026 is watched by a global audience around the world.
"stc has been part of this event since the beginning, and what they have built with EWC over three years reflects a genuine belief in what competitive gaming means for Saudi Arabia and for the world," said Mohammed Al Nimer, Chief Commercial Officer, Esports Foundation. "Having stc's name on the arena in Paris and across the broadcast, reaching millions of fans globally, is a testament to the ambition both organizations share."
Shehanah, stc's gaming character and a symbol of its commitment to the next generation of Saudi players, returns for EWC 2026 with a confirmed presence across digital touchpoints including the EWC 2026 marketing campaigns leading up to and during the event.
The EWC 2026, taking place at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in Paris from 6 July to 23 August, will bring together more than 2,000 professional players and 200 clubs from over 100 countries. Participants will go head-to-head across 25 tournaments spanning 24 world-class game titles, competing for the largest prize pool in esports history, valued at more than US$75 million.
