Specific Reaction Claim Double-Victory in Naraka: Bladepoint Mid-Season Championship at 2025 Esports World Cup Festival

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (August 20, 2025) At the Esports World Cup Festival, innovative battle royale title Naraka: Bladepoint hosted both solo and trios tournaments, that saw the same organisation walk away with both trophies. In the Solo event Sui "Spider" Xiangjun of Specific Reaction claimed the title, while his Specific Reaction teammates managed to take the trios win.

In the Naraka: Bladepoint solo final, an incredible six-match series saw six players on match point in the final game. Despite that tension, it would all come down to a last-ditch 1v1 battle to crown a winner. Eventually, Spider took the win, in an incredibly long fight that saw multiple ultimates used and full health resets. For the win, Spider will take home the lion’s share of the $150,000 prize pool.

“I feel really excited, this is the first time for me on the international stage getting a championship, and it's a big championship for my team,” said Spider after the win. “I think I did not waste my heart trying for such a long time to win. I want to thank my team, they support me a lot, and it makes me think I can go further and further.”

In the Naraka: Bladepoint trios final, Specific Reaction claimed the crown after a tense game four finish. They dominated the field, reaching match point within three games and then claiming the win in game four. The win gives the trio a share of the $350,000 prize pool.

Having claimed both the solo and trios titles, Specific Reaction is now undoubtedly the strongest Club in Naraka: Bladepoint. They dominated both competitions, beating out multiple other Clubs to lift both trophies available at the Esports World Cup Festival.
