Mar 02, 2026.

February pushed the Road to EWC forward, delivering key results and shaping the competitive landscape for the season ahead. FaZe Clan claimed the Six Invitational trophy in Rainbow Six Siege, Team Vitality expanded into PUBG and Crossfire, and major qualifiers were confirmed, giving Clubs and players clear opportunities to secure their spot in Riyadh.

At the Six Invitational 2026 in Paris, FaZe Clan secured the world title with a 3–1 Grand Final victory over Team Secret, winning Consulate 7–4, Bank 7–2, dropping Fortress 11–9 in extra rounds, and closing Border 10–8. Thiago “Handyy” Ferreira led the event with MVP performance as FaZe became the first roster in Siege history to defend the Invitational title back‑to‑back.

Team Vitality claimed the IEM Kraków 2026 championship, defeating FURIA Esports in a clean series to take the title and reinforce their early season form on the global CS2 stage. Vitality’s map control and star performances from Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut paced their run through the bracket.

At Call of Duty League Major 1, Paris Gentle Mates earned the championship with a 4–3 Grand Final win over OpTic Texas, marking their first Major title of the 2026 season and setting them up as a serious CDL contender.

Notable Roster Changes

Roster activity marked February across multiple titles. Team Vitality signed a PUBG squad and acquired the former ROC Esports lineup in Crossfire, strengthening its multi-title ambitions. FURIA Esports disbanded the majority of its Rainbow Six Siege team while 100 Thieves joined R6 as a partner.

Ninjas in Pyjamas added South Korean TEKKEN 8 standout Oh “Meo-IL,” and TSM signed a new RLCS roster for Rocket League, showing how Clubs are reshaping their lineups to compete on the global stage.

Road to EWC: DreamHack Birmingham

The biggest development off the server came with the announcement of official Road to EWC qualifiers at DreamHack Birmingham 2026. Players in Street Fighter 6, TEKKEN 8, and Trackmania will compete for direct spots in Riyadh, making these qualifiers a key early checkpoint on the Road to EWC.

As February closed, the Road to EWC is no longer just a season-long plan, it is live, competitive, and global. With tournaments underway, rosters reshaping, and qualification points on the line, every match now matters in the journey to the Esports World Cup 2026.
