Week 6 of the Esports World Cup Festival brought another round of exciting activities to Boulevard Riyadh City.

The penultimate week of the 2025 Esports World Cup Festival brought showcases, community tournaments, and memorable moments to Riyadh. From a locally flavored Fortnite event to TEKKEN competitions running alongside the main tournament, the excitement was nonstop.
Here’s a look at some of the week’s standout moments.

Retro Park
The Iron Fist History
The thrills of TEKKEN 8 at EWC 25 weren’t limited to the main stage. Retro Park offered fans a deep dive into the series’ history, featuring a towering Devil Jin figurine, artwork from every entry, and a trove of collectibles. On top of that, visitors could jump into the action themselves in a community-focused TEKKEN tournament.

Riyadh Reloaded featuring Fortnite
Fans of the colorful battle royale enjoyed a special Fortnite showcase, where MENA content creators went head-to-head in Fortnite Reloaded, the game’s recently released, fast-paced mode.

Aramco SIM Arena
Aramco Female Championship
On August 13, all 20 motion simulators in the Aramco SIM Arena were dedicated to a special three-hour, all-women’s competition. The showcase highlighted both the growing presence of women in esports and the festival’s commitment to inclusivity.

Wajeh Rocket League Community Tournament
Rocket League fans jumped into a tournament of their own while some of the world’s best battle for survival in Rocket League at 2025 Esports World Cup elsewhere in Boulevard Riyadh City. Hosted by local content creator Wajeh, the showcase highlighted the talents of festival visitors.

DRX Esports Booth
Fans of TEKKEN 8 and DRX Esports were in luck this week when they visited the DRX Esports Booth at stc Gaming Hall. Supporters of four-time EVO champion Bae "Knee" Jae-Min, Yoon "LowHigh" Sun-woong, and other top DRX players across different titles gathered to connect with fellow fans and members of the fighting game community.

JAMEEL Motorsport Park
Themed Karting
JAMEEL Motorsport Park was filled with excitement thanks to the Sonic Racing-branded karting experience. Visitors raced on neon-lit, arcade-style tracks themed after Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails. Tied to the Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds game, this activity also included real-time boosts and in-game rewards that connected the digital realm with real life.

HMG Play Park
Maze Challenge
The Maze Challenge at HMG Play Park tested everyone’s memory, navigation, and decision-making skills this week. Across eight interconnected, themed rooms, participants solved puzzles and overcame obstacles to find the exit. Those who worked well under pressure made it out in record time.
