All You Need to Know about EWC26 PARIS

The Esports World Cup 2026 kicks off in Paris in less than two weeks, featuring a massive $75 million prize pool and talent from around the globe, it’s a must-watch event for esports fans everywhere, whether they’re attending in person or tuning in from home.

After months of intense preparation and ROAD TO EWC qualifiers, the 2026 edition of EWC has finally arrived. Over 200 clubs – with players from 84 different countries – will arrive in Paris to compete for historic prize pools, glory, and the ultimate championship trophy.

Seven weeks of competition, 24 esports titles, and dozens of fan activities make up everything EWC has to offer. Whether you’re traveling to the event in person or watching from the comfort of your own home, you'll be in for a treat!

When does the Esports World Cup start?

EWC begins on Tuesday, July 6, with group play from titles like VALORANT. The official Opening Ceremony ft. DJ Snake, Aya Nakamura & Theodora will take place on July 8, and the first championship weekend matches will take place on Saturday, July 11.

25 Tournaments will run from July 6 all the way until August 23, make sure to check the schedule to find out when your favorite players and clubs are competing.


How to watch the Esports World Cup

Numerous live streams in a wide range of languages will showcase esports action directly from multiple stages. Streams in additional languages will be provided by our media partners and thousands of co-streamers across the globe on a variety of streaming platforms, such as Twitch, Youtube, Kick, Douyu, Tiktok, and more.
