VALORANT features a roster of iconic agents across four roles: Duelist, Initiator, Sentinel, and Controller. Duelists excel at site entry with abilities designed to create openings, Initiators gather intel and disrupt enemy defenses, Sentinels lock down areas with defensive tools, and Controllers reshape the battlefield with smokes and walls. Matches are 5v5 and round-based, with teams switching between attacking and defending sites at halftime. Attackers aim to plant and detonate the spike, while defenders work to prevent its activation. Every decision, from ability usage to positioning, is amplified by a dynamic in-game economy that rewards careful planning and precise execution.
