EWC25 Week 3 overview

The week will also feature preliminary rounds for PUBG MOBILE, Chess, and the Mobile Legends: Mid-Season Cup, promising plenty of high-stakes action and unforgettable moments for fans around the world.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 at EWC 25

Week 3 of the Esports World Cup will be headlined by the first of two Call of Duty titles featured in the tournament. Making its debut at the event, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 at EWC 25 will feature sixteen teams split into four groups of four. They’ll face off in a best-of-five, double-elimination group stage starting on July 24th at 3 PM KSA.

The top eight teams will advance to a single-elimination playoff bracket beginning on July 26th at 5 PM KSA, leading to the grand final on July 27th at 9:45 PM KSA.

StarCraft II at EWC 25

This week, the SNB Esports Arena hosts one of the longest-standing esports titles with StarCraft II at EWC 25. Four of the 18 competing players will begin in a play-in stage on July 22nd at 1 PM KSA, battling in a double-elimination bracket to determine which two advance to the group stage.

Play-in and group stage opening matches will be best-of-three, while the remainder of the group stage shifts to best-of-five to decide the eight players who will move on to the single-elimination playoffs, beginning July 24th at 4 PM KSA. The semifinals and grand final will take place the following day, July 25th, starting at 2 PM KSA.

KWC at EWC 25

The second and final week of the Honor of Kings World Champion Cup (KWC) at EWC 25 begins on July 23rd at 12 PM KSA, as the remaining eight teams compete in a single-elimination playoff bracket for the largest share of the $3,000,000 prize pool. The grand final is scheduled for July 26th at 3PM KSA, with the third-place decider starting a couple of hours earlier at 11AM KSA.

Action packed early days

In addition to the title-deciding games, Week 3 of the Esports World Cup also features preliminary rounds for three more tournaments. The group stage for the MSC at EWC 25 begins on July 23rd at 12PM KSA, followed by the Chess at EWC 25 Last Chance Qualifier on July 24th at 5PM KSA. The PUBG MOBILE World Cup at EWC 25 group stage kicks off on July 25th at 5PM KSA.
